Free Agent Auction Advice

This is my first year being in a free agent auction league so I don't really know what to expect regarding bids for players. A guy in my 12 team league just dropped Alfred Morris. What's a reasonable bid for him if my total budget for the year is $110 and I have $109 right now?

Uhh, i would bid just about everything to guarantee you get him. Why the hell he was dropped in the first place is mind blowing. Starting RBs are very hard to come by.

If it were me, I would spend over 50% of my budget for him. But that is me and I tend to make decisions with drunken logic
