I completely disagree.
If any kept SP would be in the draft pool, they'd be a top 5 pick, IMO

+1... just glanced through and none jump out @ me. I know Verlander had a down year (by his standards) last year, but dude could turn it around and win a Cy Young at any time.

There are so many really good SP's in the league right now.
exactly why it isnt essential to keep them unless you have a top 10 guy.
Same can be said with OF and I kept two...

And maybe its just how little I value pitching

If people reached on starters then how could the other numbers look right, shouldn't they be a little light?

I sold off CC, so I could get Prince. There is good pitching everywhere in the draft. I mean msu traded for Buchholz and still didn't keep him

Name some of those pitchers Frat

Verlander
Without looking at who each team could have kept instead of those guys
ETA: weaver and grienke are also both borderline

We'll see how that theory works out since you kept none... I may just go SP 1st round...

IF hes heatlhy hes worth keeping. Probably another borderline guy

Verlander
All these guys are in ESPNs top 22 SP rankings.
And 4 of the 6 had k/9 over 9 last year.

That's a great list of pitchers that would all be drafted with the quickness

They are good pitchers. I'm not arguing that. I'm just saying I personally wouldn't keep any pitcher not in the top 5 much less top 20 with the amount of keepers we ate keeping. It very well may bite me in the arse

FWIW I would keep at least 3 of those pitchers over Pence.... But that's just me
