Voting Method in FL

Sorry if off topic. First time voting in FL. They use scantrons, like bubble in your answer w a pen and feed it in to a machine...Why do I feel like the lever pull is more advanced than the 80 yr old next to me in a tiny, non-private cubicle, trying to fill in her bubble while controlling her Parkinsons?! It felt very grade school. Better than hanging chads I suppose
