Monitor/Driver Issue - Screen Pixilates Periodically

Synopsis
* Only happens sometimes.. doesn't seem to be a pattern
* Computer is a Lenovo Thinkpad W500 (Win 7 Pro - 32bit)
* Screen resolution is 1680x1050 -- however, it seems to do this on any setting
* It sits on a docking station most of the time, but other laptops do not have the issue when docked on it
* I use use a monitor when docked, but I do use Extended Mode to use workspace on the open laptop
* IIRC, I didn't notice this habit until after installing VMWare.. known issues here?
Does my computer simply have AIDS? I've re-installed just about any driver I can find for this machine.

I've encountered this problem before. Just delete the file "System 32" on your hard drive and you'll be set
