Books on the Revolutionary War from the British Side

I've got a tendency to rotate between sci-fi, historical fiction (currently on book 10 of Saxon Series), and historical non-fiction.
I'm just about done with the show Turn so I'm on a bit of Revolutionary War kick and I'm looking for a book on how the British perceived the conflict.
I'm kind of looking for a comprehensive book that shows their side from the field - soldiers, Tory militia and civilians, officers, etc. - as well as how it was viewed on the other side of the pond including viewpoints the British government and British citizens.

I grew up reading this guy called G.A. Henty. He was a British war correspondent in the latter half of the 1800’s. He wrote a line of what I guess you’d call “young adult” historical fiction novels. Most of which input a young British protagonist into a war at some point in history and follows their exploits.
Anyways he wrote one called “True to the Old Flag” from the perspective of a British loyalist in the Revolutionary War.
His stuff used to be pretty hard to find in stores, as it’s not particularly contemperary, but fortunately all of his works are currently on Project Gutenberg for free.
