I’m really surprised some crappy team didn’t take a chance on Mateo and see if he could become another Villar.

We've lost a little traction with the holiday weekend approaching, but I think it's safe to say the committee believes 300 IP minimum is the needed threshold to meet for all teams to qualify for the ratio categories.

Committee members, I know RDR wanted us to discuss if we should change categories for this year, so feel free to give your input on that discussion on the Fantrax league chat.

Also, position eligibilty. We need to have a discussion on that. I think prorate the numbers from a regular season (10 of 162 to be eligible for following season and 5 of 162 in season). Just prorate that number out and I think that would be smart move.
Have a happy 4th everyone

Works for me. Has a max. been discussed?

Doesn't make sense to have a max when IP is a category to me.

Yu Darvish threw his new pitch, a two-seam/splitter hybrid, during his first intrasquad game appearance on Saturday.

Darvish is calling this new pitch "The Supreme." The veteran right-hander posted a 2.95 ERA -- and a ridiculous 124/7 K/BB ratio -- over his final 88 1/3 innings (14 starts) last season and seems well-equipped to flourish during Major League Baseball's planned 60-game 2020 campaign.

It's over for y'all. Pass me the trophy now.

Is it bad when a 20 year old has to move to first base because he’s too big for any other position?

Mattingly spent time praising Monte Harrison. Noted Monte can play all over OF.
