Anyone been this week? Heading down for the weekend and I know forecast isn't the best til Sunday but going anyway. Speck and red hunting...

Went last weekend and didn't do too well. We caught some specks in Racouri early Saturday morning when the wind stopped and caught some Reds in the marsh along LA1. Heard some Good reports from South Tex Fields and Bayou Blue area- take that for what it's worth.
Spring is alway tough for reds down there IMO they don't know if they want to be in winter or summer paterns. We would catch 1 every where we went but never load up in the usual summer spots

my dads friends caught a limit of trout in caminada pass on tuesday
