Vudu Shrimp Question

Caught my limit of specks plus 20 or so throwbacks on one shrimp nunder a cork. Ive read there best under a cork but has anyone Carolina rigged one or Rucker rigged one and had any luck? Specifically @ the bridges in Lake Pontchartrain.

I have a couple buddies who've had success jiggin the bottom with them. This is in leeville though.

I'm in no way the foremost leader in fishing knowledge but it seems to me anything that a shrimp would naturally would do you could do with these.
