At-aletes: dumb as doorknobs or snobs above the law?

How is it they consistently get arrested for either possession of a loaded firearm at an airport or driving under the influence?
They either have to be dumber than the average citizen or think they are above the law. Especially considering they have greater means at their disposal to avoid such activities.
For DUI = Hire a freakin limo/taxi... pay a friend to be the designated driver
For gun possession = hire a freakin bodyguard... keep the guns at the house when traveling, homey.
