no. they only "movement" specks enjoy are windsock decoys bouncing around. they don't like flappers/spinners/ect from my experience

So what you are saying is that the $170 I just spent on this thing was really not a solid purchase?

meh. i wouldn't have spent it. 6 FFD specks would have been better spent IMO

obviously dont let that stop you from trying it though. i've just never heard of any kind of movement decoys working on anything but snows. try it out and let me know though

They make one for snows also. I heard about this specific decoy from a friend of mine who went on a canadian hunt up north. He said the guy had 3 of these flappers & about 2 dozen regular decoys. He said the guide would honk a few times to get their attention & then hit the flappers. 4 guys got limits 3 days in a row.

I figured it would be worth a shot. To me, the flapping wings look a lot more realistic than the spinning type like the mojo. I will report on the results either way...
