My fiancé and I are looking for a new honeymoon destination for March. Our first couple of options didn't work out, and we just found out she's pregnant which also changed things. So, instead of partying or flying somewhere, we're looking at a reasonable drive with more relaxation in mind.

Which hot springs areas are the best? Nice accommodations and maybe some other things to do in the area for a few days?

Thanks! Utah is a bit far to drive, and the truth or consequences doesn't look great. Have you been to the ojo caliente?

Ojo Caliente is amazing. Make sure that they’re actually open at the original location. They’ve been closed and have a location basically in Santa Fe now. It’s great, but it’s not the same as the original.

10,000 waves is also in Santa Fe. If you have the budget, my ranking would be:

1) Original Ojo
2) 10k Waves
3) New Ojo.

Just over the border into Colorado is Pagosa Springs, which is home to the Wolf Creek ski resort during the winter time. The Hot Springs are awesome any time you go, but especially in the late spring and summer it is incredibly beautiful there
