Start your search with the old country smoker. Sturdy and very minimal mods needed to get it going good.

Old Country Brazos is a solid smoker. Don't let the wheels fool ya though. You won't be moving it around a whole lot. Oh yeh, make sure you have a trailer and a strong friend to go with you to get it.

I settled on the Old Country Brazos Deluxe (DLX) model. It's $100 more than the regular Brazos but has a counterweight and tuning plates. Mainly, I just wanted the counterweight.
