Arch has grown up in a rabid football family that all have no connection to or have outright hatred for LSU. They love Louisiana and are basically New Orleans royalty, but they are not Tigers.
All of this plus the fact that Archie's dad was a huge Ole Miss fan when Archie was growing up and LSU-Ole Miss was a huge rivalry back then. LSU is still the team that old-time Ole Missers hate the most. Archie basically grew up hating LSU.
