Arkansas Almost had your team colors in late 1909, here's the link for you to see what could have been Arkansas' team colors.

Just a short video and write up. My wife is from Thibodaux and since both my parents passed away last summer we may be moving back down that way.

I've had her for 29 years so I would say so. Cackbay, man does that bring back old memories.

Do you know the L S U team colors 100 years ago, the photo I have of them some were wearing bowties and was in black and white from the 1910 program I have of Arkansas vs LSU. I'm not here to be rude by any means, I'm here to share history with you.

What is the story about our colors being Blue & White, but they could only find purple and gold uniforms in time for the first game?

lost or didnt bring unis to play toolame in new orleans so went out to make new ones and all they could find in new orleans was purple gold and green(mardi gras) not sure if they never used green or just dropped it later on.....

thats story i've read.

Yep, I saw the mis spelling after I sent it. Sorry about that and it is between Thibodaux and Vacherie.

used purple and gold ribbons only because the green was unavailable due to mardi gras
