A lot of pet plans probably work like memberships for cheap access to preventative care, but when expensive bills happen - the vet discounts it? I’d be surprised if the pet “insurance “ plans actually pay the vet much.
I’m curious if a veterinarians here can explain how that works..

Not a vet. Google Embrace. I wouldn’t recommend going with the plan that covers everything, but I do like the high deductible plans.
