Tailgating at Davis Wade

Have a group of 8 of us making the trip to Starkville currently for the game. Where will our fans have some tailgating setup before the game? We’ve all got our own drinks. Would much rather hang with some fellow tiger fans than walk around wasting a few hours before kickoff.

Not going to get much tailgating in after getting there and having to find a place to park.

I have parked in the same parking lot behind some education building about a mile from campus the last three times I've went. Always pretty easy.

I’m up here and have already encountered LSU fans cooking gumbo and jambalaya. Weather is PERFECT for a game day!

Obviously you are a highly educated LSU English major, right? I could tell by your grammar!!

I’m not sure if the LSU fans I met tailgating in Starkville post here, but I introduced myself to some guys tailgating across from the SAE house. They treated me to a delicious bacon-wrapped and grilled appetizer and delivered a bowl of jambalaya to me at my nearby tent after the game. I’ve never had food that good at a State tailgate. LSU was well-represented in Starkville this weekend, and everyone we met were fine folks. Anyway, if you post here, my sincerest thanks and compliments go out to you.
Something that made me smile was seeing a couple of LSU fans ringing their own cowbells when LSU played well. One of them turned out to be Max Johnson’s dad. Maybe you had to be there, but it made me laugh. Geaux Tigers!
