re: What’s better. Working for an employer or having your own business?

The girl who cleans our house comes once a week, works a couple of hours and makes $100. She does two or three houses a day, four or five days a week and could do more if she wanted. She sets her own hours and can work as much or as little as she wants. Sounds great, right? She told me the other day she's looking for a steady salaried job, maybe as a bank teller. Being her own boss is too much of a headache.

Meanwhile I've been an employee and currently have my own business. I much prefer working for myself.
