I’ll add the chamber to this as well. I have a B-80 that’s a beretta 302 clone that struggled with dove loads but not target loads of the same weight/loading. Cleaned the gas system and action but it still wouldn’t cycle. The target loads were smooth but dove loads were a textured plastic and I noticed a little tighter to pull out by hand. Looked down the barrel and saw some crud in the chamber, tiny bit of plastic or dirt maybe. Turns out the cheaper dove loads fit the slightest bit tighter in the chamber, were getting hung up against the crud, extractor would slip, and it would jam. Hit it with a brass brush and then lightly oiled inside, and it fixed the issue completely.
