Wyoming is draw only. Be sure you have land access to Unit areas in which you apply. Some public lands are landlocked and you can't cross private lands unless with written permission or paying a trespass fee.

Don't apply to an area then hope to get access after you draw. Do your homework. Hunting in bear and mountain lion country is a whole new ballgame. You can become the hunted.

Update: Purchase onxmaps for the state you wish to hunt. It is a necessity. It will list and show land parcels, both public and private, and can provide real time proof to green jeans you are not trespassing. Many ranchers and outfitters utilize public land(BLM and Nat Forests) and try to run you off by saying it's private land or they have the hunting rights, when all they habe is grazing rights. Onxmaps are a must. I download my maps to a Garmin gps unit, because cell phone service out their is spotty.

BLM = Bureau of Land Management not Black Lives Matter lol
