Personally, i dont think there is much they can do. It feels like NBA players prioritize things outside of the sport.
This
NFL is just different

Nonsense.
Seriously, I’ve been wondering the last few days who has actually watched the NBA regularly and who is just bored from other forums?
Milwaukee just won the championship.
Who had to play Atlanta to get there, both non glamour market teams that built through the draft and made smart trades, lower key FA acquisitions.
They played Phoenix. Another non glamour market that built through the draft and trades.
Utah was the number one seed followed by Phoenix and Denver.
Denver is arguably the best young team right now with huge upside.
All of this is two years removed from Toronto, another draft built team that played the trade market right, winning a championship.
It is utter hogwash that it can’t be done. It’s been done two of the last three seasons and the greatest dynasty in the last couple decades has been the Spurs, another small market team.
Is it more difficult? Yes, but if you put the right people in charge from the top down, and a little luck(and New Orleans has gotten more of that in the draft than anyone in the last 15 years), it can be done.
