People who keep saying this are jumping right to the downfall of WCW, and completely ignoring the fact that WCW was really freaking good for a while, and to this day was the only promotion to not just challenge WWE, but actually overtake them. What's weird is Punk and Bryan (cuz you know he's coming sooner than later) are both the same ages that Hogan and Savage were when WCW signed them in 94.

But they aren’t pulling WWE’s top talent away like WCW did to WWF. They are doing everything that lead to WCW’s downfall. That and they are catering to a niche of wrestling fans and they are sprinkling just enough SJW nonsense in there to get praise from parties who have no vested interest in their success while further limiting their ceiling.
