This is the building you’re talking about.
It’s not beside the tower. It’s in front of the tower in reference to the camera location, and it’s much much shorter.
You’re seeing the wing go behind it because the camera is looking up at the tower and that box on top of the building gets between the line of sight between the camera and the left wing.
