My sister. She moved to the northeast to live in her own liberal bubble. Before I could even ask my parents what they thought about getting the vaccine, she had already gotten to them. They’re in their 40’s and already had covid. They’re fit and eat healthy. They were convinced they would get covid again after 3 or 4 months if they didn’t get the vaccine. They are business owners and couldn’t afford to close shop to quarantine for two weeks.
The only reason I was nervous for them to get the jab is because a virus triggered narcolepsy in me many years ago and it’s likely that one of my parents also has the same gene. It’s a new technology and autoimmune responses aren’t widely studied. I would hate for one of them to also end up exhausted for the rest of their life because of a vaccine they may have not even needed.
