At intersection towards Esplanade, I saw this late 20's woman on a bike pulling an infant in bike trailer. Burned in my head was the woman, who was out of her mind and talking loudly as she rode perpendicular to me. Attention inevitably went to her. My initial thought was schizophrenia. Clearly she was mentally disturbed.
She rode through the intersection to within 5 feet of me, and I took note of what had to be no more than a 4-month old in the bike trailer, wrapped up and sleeping. Heart sunk for the baby. Deeply saddened me for that child. Came home and told my wife...felt helpless for the baby.
Horrific if that was him. Heart wrenching.
I bet it was the same woman...
