AEW Saturday Night Dynamite Thread: A Jungle Champion is born Edition

I mistakenly said AEW returned to the road this Wednesday night... that was a mistake... AEW returns to the road 1 week from this coming Wednesday so we have 2 more Daily's Place episodes of Dynamite to get through (including tonight's)

However... I was correct in saying tonight is the final "misplaced" episode of Dynamite due to the NBA playoffs as Dynamite returns to its normal Wednesday 7 PM timeslot this coming week

The purge of WWE talent yesterday seemed to have a specific focus of getting rid of older, smaller guys as WWE is looking to recruit younger & bigger... preferably looking for talent 26 and younger and 220 lbs or bigger

Following yesterday's purge... the 205 Live roster is down to 5 total competitors and that number includes Smackdown producer THE Brian Kendrick who mostly stays backstage now... so really 205 Live is down to 4 fully active talents now (may be time to officially cancel that show)

Karrion Kross (sans smoke & mirrors entrance when he's in the Thunderdome) wrestled Shane "Slapjack" Thorne in a dark match last night on Smackdown while Scarlett Bordeaux also wrestled a dark match last night against Shotzi Blackheart

For the 2nd to last time of the "pandemic era"... AEW Dynamite comes from Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Fla.

The AEW Championship could be heading to the jungle as Jungle Boy cashes in his Casino Battle Royale victory shot and challenges Kenny Omega for the title tonight. Ok... no... Jungle Boy's not winning but you know the 2 will put on a show for a Saturday Night Dynamite audience

Former WCW Television, United States Heavyweight, & Tag Team Champion Konnan makes his return to TNT tonight in a manager standoff as he represents his former proteges LAX... sorry... Santana & Ortiz against FTR's manager Tully Blanchard

The Young Bucks will also have a promo off with their opponents for Wednesday night's show... Penta El Zero Miedo & Eddie Kingston
