Who halted a major pipeline project in the US while green lighting one for the Russians?

Who halted oil & gas leases on public land?

You think these things helps or hurts the US from an energy standpoint?

Stopping keystone was dumb but it’s affect on oil prices is negligible as the oil still goes to market. Additionally, Canadian oil is imported oil and does not go towards energy independence.

Regarding the Russian pipeline to Germany that was a political knot that we probably couldn’t really stop as it’s not something we’re directly involved in. I don’t really get all the angst over this line.

That’s not good, but as of now isn’t impacting production. Most of your domestic production growth is on pvt land, state lands and most of the productive fed lands in domestic shale are under lease. We’ll see what happens going forward.
