Anyone had to deal with loved one with Alzheimer?
My mother.
Diagnosed at around 55.
Passed in 2012 at 64.
Hardest part was her not knowing my children. She would be happy to see and play with my daughter as my first boy (2nd child) was too young to play...
Didn't have a clue who they were.
Good luck man. If it helps you won't remember her as she is now. Your brain won't let you unless you really try.
Mine goes back to the last real hug she could give me when she knew who I was. Standing in the kitchen with her denim jumper and she put her arms around me and have me a big hug and giant smile.
Thats the shite you'll remember.
I'm sorry for y'all.
Edit: My favorite scripture is from her fight.
Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
It works for everyone involved in the fight..
