Trialed a case of 2 3/4" Boss #5's last year with seemingly good results. (Seemed) to reduce my crippled birds, really like the pattern density of #5's.

Couple of observations of note:

Had a couple rounds that had bad crimps, and didn't exactly feel like Boss was wanting to do anything about those. My thought was that it's a boutique shell producer, you shouldn't let a bad crimp get out the door.

And second, I noticed a fair bit of fragmentation of the copper plated rounds in the breast cavity of ducks. I'd much prefer the pellets stay intact.

I had that, too with lots of loose bb’s in my case.

Did anyone else have a problem with BOSS shells not firing? I had a couple of the teal shot not fire during teal season, but I know a couple of people that they had lots of problems with them not firing. One with a 20 and one with a 12.
