I agree with this statement.
I have twin girls (8), boy (7), and baby girl (3). Baby is by far the sweetest of all of them. I’m pretty sure I’m in the middle of the best years and most innocent years possible. I enjoy it, but I’m a little sad this might be the best time of all when I look back one day.
I’m 100% done though and satisfied with that decision. I’m late 30’s. As great as they all are, I can NOT go through it all again.

I miss the infant phase, but we're in the toddler phase right now, and it is so much fun (when she's not being a hellion).
- Feeling just as proud of her for learning to jump and climb as I was of her walking
- Her singing songs, sometimes making up lyrics based on her day
- "Pretend" play is off the charts, playing detective running around the house looking for clues; "Daddy I want on your shoulders" and then when we start walking she screams "WATCH OUT!" every 2 steps to make me duck down; dancing by the car on the way to daycare every morning; racing in the yard; "building" a playhouse with her little tool set
- She sat on my lap last night as I dramatically read Where the Wild Things Are and she looked at the pictures and soaked up every word and at the end said "That was fun, Daddy. I want another one."
