Sorry, it's true buddy. It's 2021. $7.50 per hour is not livable no matter where you are in the country.

Gas, rent, utilities... not going to happen. At that point if that's your earning potential you'd better hope you can walk to your job. Good luck paying for a car and insurance.

It’s an employers job to negotiate the pay someone’s skillet is worth not to pay them a wage just to be “livable”.
