It’s hilarious to think that by branding ourselves as “Louisiana” that we are going to somehow take away the powers of the LSU brand. It’s quite absurd.
Ul football is actually on the cusp on becoming the next Boise State quite possibly. I mean a 16 preseason ESPN ranking ain't nothing. Could mean competition in state for players for LSU. LSU no like

This guys gets it. For sure, we have a lot to prove this season, but Cajun Nation is pretty confident Napier will get it done. And that our Admin will ensure that the next HC carries it on, once Napier is finally lured away.

Lot's of interesting debates going on here about what I said earlier. Couple things.
In 2020 Ul only lost one game to Coastal Carolina by a field goal. A true toss-up kind of game that just didn't go their way in the end, but they won all the rest of their games.
The final score to the Ul Iowa State game was 31-14. Not some close win. The game was close until the end, and then UL pulled away. That's right UL pulled away at the end...you know the point in the game where the depth and talent should take over and the more talented team wins.
So could UL have beaten LSU last season? maybe maybe not, who cares. Could UL possibly beat LSU in the 2021 season. Not gonna happen. The point is this isn't the Cajuns of old who had horrible teams even for Sun Belt standards. These Cajun teams are now at the top of the G5 teams in terms of talent, depth, and most of all coaching. If the current trend continues, UL will be a formidable college football team who could challenge and beat a P5 top school. Such as Boise State did a decade ago.
