We must have the same shower. I installed one of the thresholds, it works fairly well. Agree with caulking at the edges and grout line. Try not to get too heavy handed with a caulking, or it'll take forever to dry clear.

I do think it's somewhat ruins the aesthetics of the frameless shower, but what can you do aside from retiling the curb.
