They've been using AISIN and ZF-built transmissions for a couple of years now. Significantly better than what Ford has.

The new Ram is still a recent product, but it's likely far more reliable than Ford now. In part because Chrysler isn't making the transmissions for them anymore.

Our company has over forty Rams they purchased in 2018. The majority of them have had to get the transmission replaced within the 100K range. Mine at 122K and I have pulled maybe one to two trailers in 3 years is being replaced now.
