Choosing a starting qb because he runs better is stupid and will not factor as much as you think.
Command of the offense. Accuracy with arm strength. Reading defensive pre snap, etc are what makes a team loaded with skilled talent special.
If Max's scrambling gets him on the field, it means we suck on the OL and won't do well this year anyway.
Mac Jones started at Bama in front of a MUCH more athletic backup. Why is that? For one, great OL
