Please don't take offense at my following remarks. I don't mean to come off as haughty, arrogant, or self-righteous (because God knows I have more flaws than anyone in this world), but look beyond the pope for the entity who is the head of the church. The church is the bride of Christ and one day He will present the church to his Father. Christ is God in the flesh and is NOT cuckold. He certainly wouldn't be allowing some mere mortal to fill in bed time with His bride.

There is but ONE church. It was founded in Jerusalem but its headquarters was never there. Nor were earthly headquarters ever scripturally established in Rome.

You are correct. He's neither your pope nor anyone else's. (And please, don't feel that I intended any offense with these remarks. Such was certainly not my desire.)
