That's what folks have been conditioned to believe and it's sad, but why hasn't the vaccine been made available to the players by this time? I've been told by multiple folks on this forum that it is available to anyone who wants it? Does that not include professional athletes?

Nailed it. Almost like putting high profile figures in a position limiting their access to desired activities bc of no vaccine has some other intended purpose.

It has. Every team is essentially begging players and coaches to get it, so they can loosen restrictions.
