He does. However, $233,610 ($284,570 if projected inflation costs are factored in*) for food, shelter, and other necessities to raise a child through age 17. This does not include the cost of a college education.
Furthermore, my decision to not have kids pays other dividends too, such as my freedom to work more hours and/or the required hours(however crazy) to get the job done. I am sure those with kids don't regret their decision to have them, but I certainly don't regret my decision to not have them. I damn sure don't have any regrets of not getting any stimulus money because of my income.
