The baseball selection committee very rarely looks outside of conference play when it comes to SEC teams. You can almost pinpoint seeding in any given year based off of number of wins and finish in the SEC.

ETA: this is in no way meant to defend losing a series to ORU. It is bad and should not be ok with anyone but it’s not the end of the season and probably won’t have any implications to LSU’s postseason seeding at the end of the year. It could be a sign of things to come or the things that will ultimately doom this team tho.
