Are we just young this year or are we underachieving? I know Beth has been recruiting like mad the last few years but would have thought we would have more dominant pitching. Or is it just too early in the season. Not a softball guru so just asking those in the know.

And yes, fire Nikki! Our lady tigers deserve better.

Pitching had a bad first couple weekends. Last 7 games pitching has been dominant. ERA under 1.00. They are fine.

Hitting hasn't come around yet. Maybe it will. Approach looks shaky. Hit almost 30 popups in a double header Saturday (not exaggerating). They will be ok. Schedule has been brutal.

Looks to me that some of the big hitters changed hitting approaches in the off season or maybe they started it last year in the shortened season. To me it looks like they are doing more of a rotational hitting method. Similar to the Epstein method or Castro Brothers Method Castro Brother FB Epstein Hitting

This is advanced concepts but to me it doesn't work well in softball and turns good hitters into pop up machines. It is to produce power but I say it produces a few more homeruns than normal but as a trade off alot more popups than normal.

My 2 cents in watching Clark, Sunseri etc. swing this year.

too early. Torina's teams tend to get better as the season progresses especially as it relates to hitting. we have the pitching, we just need to become more consistent. I think that will come as the season progresses.
