I think Hatch will because he will get the first look. Then Lee will be kind of shaky. Then Jordan Jefferson will come in and play like he knows he should be the starter, and this will create a QB controversy. But after that we will have the Troy, and N. Texas game to figure the situation out. I would like to see Jefferson start one of those so we could see how he would be out the gate.

App State's -- Rantards will probably wish they had him..........but that's just one guy.

Hatch will play as expected. Crowton will put him in position to get confidence with high percentage shorter throws, etc. But, make no mistake, it is Charles Scott to the right side first play of the game and an onslaught of run plays throughout the game. Les plans on being secure with the ball and to wear down a smaller opponent.

I am so playing the old foggie Saturday and watching the game at home with the wife. The 4pm kickoff really turned her off (way too hot). She offered to give me a yard pass but it is the first game and I need to watch it with her.

Besides, our babysitters were already spoken for.......

Couple pointers for you and yours to have a good time down here:

1. Friday try and make it by the Chimes/Varsity near campus or Superior Grill (great Margaritas and atmosphere) and be sure to represent.
2. Be jolly and take your Tigerbaits in fun and throw good natured stuff back.
3. Ignore the dickheads.....nothing good ever comes from jawing back at trash (other Tiger fans may come to your aid in this case)
4. Get pickled but try to be smart and safe.

I think Hatch will look comfortable, but throw some inconsistent balls that would get picked off vs. SEC teams (they may or may not get picked Sat). Lee will look nervous and hold the ball longer than he should for a few snaps but he'll end up with the better game. Jefferson will look great running the option and will hit the quick slants well.

Been trying to lay off of the sauce a good bit lately anyway..Will stay well within control...The other suggestions look great..Sorry you won't be joining the festivities

Obviously for us App fans it IS a very big deal (when will I get another chance to be in such a great venue??!!) (Like UM last year...and I am not saying that about UM to compare just to say it is a legendary arena so rantards keep eating your Sugar Pops) and I sometimes pull the fogey routine for some of the APP games...

Take care...

Jefferson should not start anything this year! He is a beast but he cant walk off a highschool field and start in the SEC. Lee and Hatch have been throwing the same routes to the same receivers for 2 years almost. Jefferson will get his two years to start but be patient.

I think Lee will shine and he will have the starting job by the third game.

Probably Hatch since Lee has missed some practices.
I just hope Armanti Edwards will have the ability to walk off the field. It would suck for him to have to be carried off on a stretcher.

Looked as I thought, other than Jefferson not getting into the game.
