Was it just me, or was ESPN and Lou Holtz just disgusting last nite with the pushing and A#$ kissing of Notre Dame.
I finally switched programs.
I swear I thought I was watching an Infomercial for Notre Dame.

Holtz needs to go! He predicted 11 wins for Notre Dame last night. Last year he predicted 10 wins for them and no one reminded him of that fact on last nights show. Enough is too much with that guy.

That's the thing that gets me, no one even takes a small shot at him even though he loads the gun for them.

He may be close to being right on the number.....
I actually think 9 or so is closer....
BUT they do not play anybody
USC, Pitt and ????
MIchigan, MIchigan St. Syracuse
Other than the first 2, the rest are programs that are down..
Even his co-anchors were making fun of him and Notre Dame

Yes but they don't have a conference, can schedule shite every year, build up a good record and be GUARANTEED a major bowl game. The preferred treatment they get is the real crime.

I think one of the reasons that ESPN signed a 10 year deal with the SEC was to force feed us Lou. He is already predicting Notre Dame to be a major contender for the NC and Clausen a Heisman Trophy candidate.............
Come on guys this man is ND senile

Then Notre Dame should join a conference, play in a chamionship game and EARN their bowl games. The Big 10 and Pac 10 both need two more teams each.

Agree, except
they do not even build up a good record.

what % of his salary do you reckon is paid by ND?
they have to be paying something....
he won a NC for them, but he is ridiculus on a channel that should "for all"

8-4 is more realistic, and I didn't even bother to look at their schedule..

3-9 teams don't almost go undefeated the next year.. Especially with a bullzeye on your back, like ND...

sorry lou, your heart is bigger than your brain!
