About 30 years ago, in the parking lot of the Southern Comfort Bar on Fla. Blvd. right before the Livingston parish line. Got into a tiff with a young punk inside the bar for bumping into him going to the bar. Bouncers threw his arse out but the fricker waited in the parking lot for me to leave. When I left the punk and one of his friends came flying up in a POS Toyota car of some type and jumped out to get in my face. I will take shite inside a bar because I didn't want any trouble in a bar where I was a regular. Outside, in the parking lot, is a different matter. I ended up punching the punk and knocking him down and then rolling around in the gravel with the friend. The bouncers came out yelling at me to let them up. the bouncers then realized that it was the two punks against me. They told them to get in their car and get the frick off of their property and that they were calling the cops. I stuck around for a bit to make sure the idiots wouldn't try to follow me home or start some shite on the road. I finally left and went home. I won the fight but it took several days for me to recover from it. I realized then that I was getting too old for that shite and that was the last time I got into a physical altercation. Now I just go about my business while carrying a firearm. I won't fight you now, but if you attack me I will shoot your arse. Never needed it because I learned to avoid places where a fight is likely.
