Between 1998 & 2006 NYPD Cops had an accuracy rate( hit suspect) of only 18% in gunfights. In shots fired at all suspects ( armed or unarmed ) in 2005 & 2006 Cops accuracy was only 17% & 28% respectively.



I hear a lot of misinformed comments about handguns & supposed " skills" of shooters when most Cops in this nation probably dont hit their targets no more than 25-30% of the time . Hollywood has brainwashed many about the accuracy of handguns.
