Except when he bills for plumbing he gets paid in full upfront or after job is complete, but when he bills for anesthesiologist work he bills for triple the amount, then renegotiates a few months later with the insurance for a fraction of the billed amount, then gets paid for 80% of the renegotiated amount by the insurance company, and then bills the remainder to the patient who will more than likely not pay and the bill is sent to medical collections who might buy the debt for 25% of the billed amount.

Ain’t medical billing grand.
