I’ve seen a statistic somewhere that I can’t put my hands on now, but the majority of these suicides are by non-combat veterans. I’d also look at the front end of who is being recruited and emotional baggage they are bringing with them. If we’re now allowing any man who wants to be a woman into active duty that only suggests many emotionally fragile people are being enlisted into a service that is exceptionally stressful for a baseline person.
