I saved about that or more when I purchased it in the beginning.

I bought that truck for around $31k in 2009. To get a Chevy with a comparable engine (~5.6 V8) it would have been over $40


And I averaged 17-19 HWY and 14 City. I averaged over 16

I got a Silverado LT with the 320 horsepower engine for about $29,000 in 2008. I had the cab and a half with 4 wheel drive. A crew cab would have probably been another couple of grand. Prices were right in line with the Titan at the time when I bought mine.

It just doesn't add up. Nissan's competitive pickup truck is the Frontier, not the Titan. Aging technology is more forgiving in that segment. And Nissan offered massive discounts on the Frontier until 2019. IMO THAT truck is the best value in the class.
