I had a 2009 Titan until recently. Had it for 11 years and 205,000 miles. Not a single mechanical issue.

People don't talk about them or shite on them because it's not what they have.

So between 18,000 and 19,000 miles per year. At 14MPG you are buying about 1350 gallons of fuel per year and spending $4050 on fuel every year. You could have gotten a Ford or Chevy (19 mpg) and burned about 975 gallons per year, spending about $2980 on fuel in that time.

4050-2980 is about $1070. So over those 11 years, you could have saved $11,770 on fuel costs alone by going with a Chevy or Ford from the same time frame.

Sorry, but that Titan is a money pit and was a terrible decision. Don't encourage more people to do something stupid just because you did.

I saved about that or more when I purchased it in the beginning.

I bought that truck for around $31k in 2009. To get a Chevy with a comparable engine (~5.6 V8) it would have been over $40

And I averaged 17-19 HWY and 14 City. I averaged over 16
