Never been true parity. Open up the playoffs to more schools and there would eventually be a modest amount of parity. Start with a G5 auto bid/play in game.


This season C Carolina vs Cincinnati for the auto bid . Foregoing their conference Championship games. People hide behind " tradition " too much though. Fear change. See " Eyes of Texas"

I’m not explicitly opposed to expansion but where does this narrative come from? Going from 2 to 4 either made it worse or had no impact.

Of FCS and Division III have large playoffs and have even less parity than FBS. I don’t think a big playoff accomplishes anything on the parity front.
