yeah it sucks. Pretty much says LSU is doomed without Perrilloux and Auburn is the runaway front runner. Even though they have two inexperienced qb's running a brand new offense.

I am not watching, but this is what they will say:

"LSU has no experienced QB's (blah blah blah) Harvard transfer (blah blah blah) redshirt freshman (zzz zzz zzz zzz zzz) talented but raw Jordan Jefferson (blah blah blah blah blah blah) lost all-everything Glen Dorsey (hee haw hee haw hee haw) reloading along the lines (hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo) SEc West will be decided at Auburn, where they haven't won since 1998."

Indeed. I have not read an article in recent weeks that deviated from that viewpoint. In fact, college football reporting is very boring right now. Perhaps the 24 hour news cycle and internet have just led to groupthink in which any deviation from the conventional wisdom is just too frought with the potential for severe criticism that so-called experts are paralyzed in their analysis.

Or maybe they have LSU all figured out.

We'll start being able to answer that question a week from Saturday.
