I only owned the PS1 and PS2. Definitely played the two more.

I was best friends with a guy who had older bothers who were big into japanese games in the early 90s. That's where I learned of Neo Geo (AES) and got good at fighting games (Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, KOF, etc.) Was so cool to have a home arcade that was legit quality. That blew me away.

I had the heads up on the Playstation 1 before the American release. I easily got one when they came out as there was no competition..kids didn't know what they were. Price of it was my biggest issue and hurdle lol.

For a long time I was the only one around with one in my area, I played that demo disc till it broke. Mortal kombat 3, Battle Arena Toshinden and twisted metal were in my dreams at one point.

Speaking of neo geo, the cd version always cracked me up with how they transcribe their titles into English. This is samurai shodown 2 and 3
